The CZ-75 Compact, as a result, is known for better shooting manners than some full-size service pistols. The frame is steel, in case you like a bit of weight and the confidence of having an all metal gun. The magazine carries 14+1 of 9mm, two fewer than the full-size.
I have both the omega and non-omega P-01. I strongly prefer the non-omega trigger. It has a smoother take up and more defined wall. The non-omega is also more upgradable. I do slightly prefer the ergonomics of the omega ambi decocker. Also, I have more time and rounds on the standard P-01 so that may factor into my perceptions.
Not sure if that tip gets in the way. I've never fired the P01 Omega, but the trigger on the P-09 is noticeably nicer than the old P01. If you don't plan on doing any work to the gun from stock go with the Omega. iIf you want to work on the gun and get some upgrades down the road go for the standard.
If your a trigger nut I would go cajun otherwise the P-07 is a fantastic gun. One more thing to add. You wouldn't think so but I think the P-07 is less snappy.than the P-01. Edited December 16, 2018 by Flyingpig. Posted December 16, 2018. The Omega P01's are good pistols . I have a couple.
