Includes gasket and oil. Vanos Replacement ($1995) Dr. Vanos fully rebuilt VANOS with factory solenoids and solenoid valves. Upgraded pistons seals and Viton O-rings. I went online and bought Powerflex bushings for all 4 subframe mounts and RTAB shipped from UK. Costing almost $400 total. ($80 for the rtabs and $140 per pair for the subframe mounts) I found a nice local car mechanic and dropped it off all the parts and few printed DIYs. It is about 15 hours to remove and replace motor complete, plus an extra couple hours to swap bearings. So roughly equates to $1700 on average lab rate. It can be done in the car easily inside of 8 hours, so $800. If you are being quoted any more than either of these routes I would shop elsewhere. 3987 posts ยท Joined 2005. #2 ยท Sep 20, 2011.
